this issue has long upset me.
hmmm...no..dont get me wrong,.,.i like julian sands a lot...especially in arachnophia and boxing helena..
but i think..that the role of lestat should have been played by someone unknown...a fresh face who dont has the weight of an image because of former roles on his shoulders....
gah,,,and tom cruise..gah...i remeber how dissapointed i was when i heared he would play lestat...how old was i anyway...14???
Julian Sands would have certainly done it well.
Loved him in Warlock.
I do however think Tom Cruise did it o.k. (and I am not a Cruise fan)
I have long admired Julian but I always see him as Satan, not a vamp.
